Babies grow and develop faster in their first year than any other year of life. Their physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional skills begin at birth and continue to develop throughout life. Because infants depend heavily on caregivers for stimulation, especially during the first six months of life, it is very important that parents make good choices when seeking a professional child care giver.
At ABC each area of growth is enhanced by caregivers who are trained to recognize the individuality of each young child. Our staff promotes growth by providing a stimulating colorful learning environment as well as a variety of learning manipulative materials. We also believe that holding, cuddling, hugging, smiling, laughing, talking, singing, and reading to babies is just as important as making sure they are fed and diaper changed.
Babies need to experience the outdoor world. Our babies spend time outdoors every day, weather permitting. Shady and sunny areas, soft grassy areas, and areas covered with a blanket, infant swings and low structures to crawl onto are provided at ABC.
